With ease she could have simply earned her audience's praise, showing her dance, lightly bow and leave with a smile on her face. But her belief was smug while his was foolish. Born yesterday, amazed by his very own existence, he laughed. Gathered by the many aspects of their apparatus, they move towards a futur from which they will remember a rope once lived. It is a story told by circus performances, abstract poetry, offbeat humor, tango, puppetry and a wheelbarrow.
“This show combines mime, humor and acrobatics. It’s the story of a fortuitous meeting between two people who find a meeting point in the air, hanging on a rope. Beyond the acrobatic performance, the story tells the difficulties of approaching each other and the wonders of working together. ” 17th of August 2019, Le Télégramme

In an abandoned and preserved universe, two characters explore a rope suspended there as the only mountain. A vertical exploration that breaks down into a battle of symmetrical movements. With a sense of humour and cold beauty, the Duo Pendu presents their connection on the rope: both in the field of aerial partnership, as in choreographic images.
The subtext of this research is a commentary on hypocrisy and its impact on a group. It is the result of the work of Adèle and Solune during their last academic year at ACaPA, with the intervention of several artists (Valentina Lacmanović, Breno Caetano, Yotam Peled, Danilo de Campos).
